Waiting on Wednesday (2)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine :)

This week I can't wait to read:

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

So last weekend I finished City of Glass and dang these books are awesome (a huge thanks again to Luke for letting me borrow these books :D) I'm pretty excited for COFA to be released on April 5th, but I'm also scared that the story will get boring and that the story just drags on like in other book series (the

best example for that is Evermore). But without any further ado here's the synopsis: (taken from

goodreads.com)

City of Fallen Angels is the fourth book in the bestselling series The Mortal Instruments.

“City of Fallen Angels takes place two months after the events of City of Glass. In it, a mysterious someone’s killing the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine’s Circle and displaying their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to provoke hostility between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, leaving tensions running high in the city and disrupting Clary’s plan to lead as normal a life as she can — training to be a Shadowhunter, and pursuing her relationship with Jace. As Jace and Clary delve into the issue of the murdered Shadowhunters, they discover a mystery that has deeply personal consequences for them — consequences that may strengthen their relationship, or rip it apart forever. Meanwhile, internecine warfare among vampires is tearing the Downworld community apart, and only Simon — the Daylighter who everyone wants on their side — can decide the outcome; too bad he wants nothing to do with Downworld politics. Love, blood, betrayal and revenge: the stakes are higher than ever in City of Fallen Angels.”

Happy Wednesday! (yay only 2 more days left until the weekend :D)

Teaser Tuesday (3)/Waiting on WednesdayTT

I know I'm a little late for my Teaser Tuesday (school was crazy and I had my nose stuck in City of Bones which I finished yesterday wuhu!) but here it is:

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read

Open to a random page

Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today I want to share a Teaser from the book The Dark Divine by Bree Despain. I've read a lot of good but also a lot of not so nice comments about this book and can't wait to read it (so this Teaser is also a teaser for me xD) because the cover looks just A-Mazing and the story sounds good to me well we'll see how it turns out. :)

"" " No, he hasn't. He's lost and frightened and he needs us. I can help him be a hero." I hadn't thought it before I said it. But I realized that's what I had to do-that was my role in all of this.""

And now my first WoW post ever (but definitely not the last, because there are so many books that I'm waiting for!)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

So this week I'm waiting for Elemental Reality by Cesya MaRae Cuono. There's not much info about the book except this little synopsis I found on goodreads:

Drastic changes in Callie's life aren't unusual, but this time it's different. Now she's fighting to save her family while she adjusts to her new, supernatural reality. Life will never be the same. . . .

But just look at this gorgeous cover, it's stunning!
