Book Birthday Shout Out (1)

Book Birthday Shout Out is a weekly meme from the Bewitched Bookworms to celebrate anxiously awaited new releases and their authors!

For months now I've been lusting over the cover and the blurb and now it's only a week until the release of....
Elemental Reality

Here's the synopsis (taken from goodreads):

When Callie Pierce was ten, her mother disappeared without a trace. On the eve of her disappearance twelve years later, the Earth seemingly comes alive. The elements spea
k to Callie, and that's only the beginning. Everything she has ever known was a twisted fabrication to protect her. Now the truth is set free. Callie and her sister are more powerful than any Faerie ever born. Now they have to use their powers to save their mother and family from the evil hands of fate that threaten to tear them apart. Welcome to her elemental reality.

About the author (with one of the most unique and awesomest names I've ever heard)(taken from her blog):
Hello! I'm Cesya, as you probably already know. I have a unique name and it's pronounced Sesha just to clear the confusion up. I have my BA in Business Adminstration and am ceritfied in Multi-Media/Production makeup artistry. I wasn't always a big fan of writing--funny, eh?--but it surely has grown on me! I love getting lost is these make-believe worlds. Once I get to talking about it you'd actually believe the place was real. With that said I leave you with this advice: Ideas pop into your head at the strangest of times. Don't let them go. Write them down right away and try to make a story out of it. Who knows, it may be worth while.

Finally a YA book in which the MC is not 16 or 17!
I can't wait to get to read this book (hopefully pretty soon) :)

Happy early Book Birthday!

Update!

Hello lovely peeps!
As you might've noticed I've been pretty bad about updating this blog. :(
No I did not give up on this blog let's just say it was an unplanned Hiatus. So what happened?
Well a lot of craziness, most of it going by the name SCHOOL. I got pretty busy with all the exams and presentations that I hardly had time for anything besides studying. But now it's summer (even though the weather is cold and stormy and really ugly) and I have more time to run this blog, hopefully I'll still be able to continue on
ce school starts again in the fall, because I already know that it will be some busy months. Why? Weeeeeelll I'M GOING TO GRADUATE! Wuhu! Finally after 9 years I'll be done with High School! (Yes we do have 9 years of HS in Germany) But until then I hope to update regularly and there's one more thing to say:
I really hope to be able to post more soon :)
Love,

Natalie

WE GOT PEETA AND GALE!!!!

So news just in we got ourselves a Peeta and a Gale :D
Peeta will be played by Josh Hutcherson, which is no surprise to me because he was one of the 2 guys we heard the most about. I'm totally fine with this decision, I know he's not blonde and blah but as I already said: It's the 21st century we have hair dyes and wigs :) plus I think Josh is super cute (fan girl squee here xD).
And now we have Gale: Liam Hemsworth. Ok we didn't hear much about the casting for Gale so Yes I'm surprised because to be honest for me it doesn't fit. Not that I don't like Liam, he just doesn't look like a Gale to me (even though he was one of the reasons which made The Last Song better (sorry Miley but you just can NOT act)) but yeah it just doesn't work for me but we'll see how it'll turn out.
So how EXCITED are you????? For my part: YAY JOSH! (for me he really has a Peeta face :D)
<- Yup he's a Peeta :)
Dear Liam: I hope you're a good actor, because for me you just DO NOT look like Gale ->

Another Mini-Challenge- TEAMS :)

So as you might know from my post yesterday I'm participating in Princess Bookie's Contest Craze (running until April 10th) if you haven't checked it out by now you really should. :)
So today's challenge is about Teams, so I decided to tell you not only about 1 but about 2 Teams. Here we go:
The Mortal Instruments: I'm sure almost every one of you knows this series, I mean it's pretty awesome so if you haven't read it by now: DO IT! The 2 Teams are Team Jace or Team Simon, well I have to say I'm Team Jace all the way, he cannot only be badass but also really sweet and he protects Clary no matter what. Of course I like Simon but I always have problems with teaming up with the best friend of the MC, because I, too, have some really good buddies and I could never imagine going out with one of them, because they are like brothers to me, so yeah I always have a hard-time with the love triangle that involves the best friend(as nice and sweet he might be), I just can't relate to it. (Same with Puck and Ash from The Iron King, Team Ash FTW (plus he has a darn good reason to be bad ass and not let anybody get in touch with him, so yeah xD)
But besides the Teams which I can choose pretty fast, there is one (until now) which I just canNOT decide who to Team up with. And this Teams are Team Ren and Team Shay from Nightshade (you might know this already because of my review :D). So why can't I decide? Well both of the guys have their good and bad qualities, while Shay tries to help Calla and respects her personal space (not like Ren :P) and is really sweet, but he also seems very pushy and I don't like that, and then there's Ren, who can be a total ass, but then he's the sweetest cupcake in the world. When I read the synopsis of Nightshade I was pretty sure I would side with Shay, because I wouldn't like to be forced to marry anyone because others tell me to, so um yeah I was really confident that I would Team up with Shay, but then you find: hey Ren's not too bad either, and the misery begins. xD
So my dear peeps tell me: which Team are you on and why? And if you've read Nightshade which Team did you choose?
Hugs from Germany :)
